Texas PTA Healthy Lifestyles – Eat to Live or Live to Eat

Coordinated School Health promotes the intentional planning of all component areas, not just nutrition. But since March is National Nutrition Month, go ahead and focus on the food! I admit it feels overwhelming at times. Should I really be eating gluten-free? Almond milk or cow’s milk? Artificial sweetener or sugar? My suggestion is to do your research, read those nutrition labels, and shop on the perimeter of the grocery store as much as possible. Check out other MyPlate helpful tips such as shopping on a budget, worksite wellness, and healthy eating this month!
Have a happy, healthful March!
